AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) for a 13-week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves caring for newborns requiring advanced medical attention in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Shawnee Mission, KS. The facility emphasizes a family-centered culture, collaborative multidisciplinary teams, and compassionate support for patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for newborns in a Level III NICU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a family-centered environment.
• Utilize experience with respiratory support, neonatal surgery, and developmental care.
• Work with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Requirements

• Current RN license (Compact accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience.
• Certifications: BLS (required); ACLS, PALS, NRP (preferred).
• Familiarity with respiratory support, neonatal surgery, and developmental care.
• Every-other-weekend commitment for fetal heart monitoring (FHM).

Pay

Pay rate: $2,523.00 - $2,653.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Includes tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

• Duration: 13 weeks.
