Travel NICU Registered Nurse assignment in Tacoma, Washington. Start date: November 2, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts). Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical judgment and critical thinking under supervision.
• Perform according to nursing standards and manage patient care, assisting others in care management.
• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
• Work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing care plans for high‑risk newborns requiring high‑technology care (ventilators, incubators, special equipment or surgery).

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN license.
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with NICU experience, current RN license, BLS/PALS/NRP certification, and a nursing degree from an accredited program.
