Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,392 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a hospital contract in Morgantown, West Virginia. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a 13-week duration starting ASAP. The pay range is $2288.92 - $2403.37 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level 3 NICU or higher.
• Assess neonates and administer IV medications, feeding, vent, and CPAP care.
• Titrating drips under MD orders, including Dopamine, Dobutamine, Prostins, Insulin, Sedation.
• Maintain neonatal status, including assessment and treatment of common diagnoses such as preemies, BPD, NAS, genetic anomalies, and cardiac conditions.
• Collaborate with Neonatologists and support staff, including nurse aides, during night shifts.

Requirements

• BLS and NRP required, ACLS and PALS preferred.
• NICU registered nurse with 2+ years of experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher.
• EPIC preferred.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in their state. Experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher is preferred, along with knowledge of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) procedures and protocols.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in EPIC are essential.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

07:00 PM - 07:00 AM (Night shift, weekend and holiday negotiable).
