Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,370 per week
Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based at a healthcare facility located in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing specialized care for neonates and infants within a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The RN will work on a 12-hour night shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to neonatal and adult patients.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D), Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP), and postpartum care.
- Additional Skills: Manage a three-couplet assignment, triage obstetrical patients, use external fetal heart monitoring (EFM), manage peripheral IVs, administer antihypertensive and insulin drips, assist with vaginal deliveries, perform newborn assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Level 1 nursery, Mother/Baby units, and circulating for C-Sections.
Additional Information
- Unit Accommodations: 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6.
- Key Equipment: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), IV systems, radiant warmers, thermoregulation devices.
