TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Little Rock, Arkansas. TotalMed is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places clinicians nationwide. The assignment is for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12‑hour night shifts. The ideal candidate should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extra‑uterine life
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators

Requirements

• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• PALS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
