The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is located in Crown Point, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized care in a level III NICU environment, with a focus on supporting patients across all gestational ages and acuity levels. The position offers a comprehensive opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to a dynamic clinical setting.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care in a Level III NICU environment
• Support patients across all gestational ages and acuity levels
• Assist during busy shifts and adapt to changing patient assignments
• Use equipment such as Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, feeding pumps, breast pumps, and Alaris intravenous (IV) pumps
• Document care in the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Wear hospital-issued scrubs
• Complete any necessary training modules prior to the first day

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum of three years of experience in a Level III NICU setting
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
