Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,250 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma, OK. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. The role requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care NICU experience (1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Skills

• Able to stand and walk for long periods; able to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 10‑20 pounds of equipment as needed.
• Prepared to work with potential exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for a 13‑week assignment.
