Job Summary

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Morristown, New Jersey will provide specialized care to neonatal patients, assess their condition, and support their families.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
• Must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license and basic life support (BLS) certification.
• At least 2 years of prior travel experience and level 3 or level 4 experience in neonatal intensive care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Additional NICU experience.

Additional Information

• Supports pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education for neonatal patients.
• Evaluates testing orders related to neonatal care, ensuring appropriateness based on patient needs and procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of neonatal diagnoses, procedures, and equipment, and individualizes patient care accordingly.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
