Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,128 per week

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Unit Details

• Unit: Level III NICU at Johnston-Willis Hospital
• Beds: 22, with ability to flex for multiples
• EMR: Meditech
• Patient Ratios: 1:1–1:4 depending on acuity
• Call: None

Required Experience

• Previous Level III NICU experience
• Experience caring for neonates as young as 23 weeks gestation
• Central line maintenance including PICC, UVC, and UAC
• Intubated and ventilated neonates
• Bubble CPAP / NIPPV
• IV drips

Preferred Experience

• High-frequency Jet ventilation
• Oscillator ventilation
• Post-op G-tube patients
• Delivery attendance
• Admission/discharge experience

Required Certifications

• BLS
• NRP

Floating

May float to Mother-Infant to care for well babies only — no maternal assignments. Optional floating to Pediatrics or PICU may be available if the traveler is qualified and interested, but it is not required.

Schedule

• Schedule built by the director based on unit needs; traveler preferences will be considered
• No on-call requirement
• Shift huddle at 7:00 AM / 7:00 PM followed by bedside report
• 30-minute unpaid lunch required unless otherwise documented

Scrubs

Navy scrubs or hospital-provided ceil blue procedural scrubs.
