Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,071 per week

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia. This position places you in a 292-bed acute care community hospital with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, offering advanced neonatal care and a wide range of medical specialties. Richmond is Virginia's capital city, known for its vibrant history and arts, with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts as a popular local attraction.

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal intensive care as a Registered Nurse in the NICU
• Manage central line maintenance (PICC/UVC/UAC)
• Care for intubated/ventilated patients
• Utilize Bubble CPAP/NIPPV
• Provide care for patients with gestational age as low as 23 weeks
• Manage IV drips

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or a compact state
• 2 years of recent NICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP-AHA AAP - NRP Advanced certification
• Previous Level III NICU Experience
• Central Line Maintenance (PICC/UVC/UAC) experience
• Intubated/Vented Patients experience
• Bubble CPAP/NIPPV experience
• Experience with Gestational Age as low as 23 weeks
• IV Drips experience
• SSN and DOB required for submission
• Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• High Frequency JET/Oscillator Vent experience
• Post-Op G Tube experience
• Delivery experience (not required)
• Admission/Discharge experience
