Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,045 per week

Job Summary

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse position is located in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The role involves providing specialized care for neonates in a busy NICU environment. The candidate will be responsible for attending high-risk deliveries, managing neonatal ventilators, administering medications, and supporting the developmental needs of preterm and ill newborns.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• At least 2 years of NICU experience
• Able to attend high-risk deliveries
• Epic electronic charting system experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 Nursery, NICU II, NICU III, and Neonatal Transport
• Experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, intubation, and ventilator management

Additional Information

• Candidates must be comfortable working with neonates including preterm infants as small as 24 weeks gestation
• On-call requirement includes two 12-hour shifts every 6 weeks
• The facility supports interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and administration
• All documentation and compliance training must be completed prior to start

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
