About the role
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients within a dedicated NICU setting. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting critically ill newborns, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care for neonatal patients in a NICU setting
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support critically ill newborns
- Adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on neonatal care protocols
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- STABLE certification
- At least 3 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units
- Previous NICU experience required
- Comfortable working with Philips monitors, Meditech, and Centricity Perinatal systems
Schedule
- Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
