Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $1,950 per week

About the role

Travel NICU RN position in Tucson, Arizona. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. The role requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and involves providing critical care to sick and premature infants, supporting families, and working with the NICU care team.

Responsibilities

• Care for infants transitioning to extra‑uterine life
• Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when needed
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs
• Administer arterial and intravenous therapy
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators
• Support parents with emotional encouragement and discharge education

Requirements

• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years’ recent acute care experience)
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
