Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $1,855 per week
Job Summary
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Fort Wayne, Indiana involves providing specialized care for a diverse range of neonatal patients, from stable feeder growers to critically ill Level 3 infants. The position offers a dynamic environment within a 40-bed unit, requiring flexibility in floating to assist in other areas as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days with Weekend Rotation, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as an RN in the state of Indiana
- Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Minimum of 2 years' NICU Level 3 experience
- Minimum of 0 years of experience
- EMR proficiency in Cerner
- Able to care for a variety of neonatal patients from stable to critical
- Availability for orientation involving 2 shifts of 12 hours each
- Must include valid drivers license and current home address matching ID
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Level 3 neonatal intensive care patients
Additional Information
- The position requires float capability to serve in other units when necessary
- Scrub color is navy blue
- Travel nurses must be more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are not accepted
- The facility maintains a 40-bed capacity and adheres to clinical standards for neonatal care
