Requirements
- RN licensure
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in a neonatal intensive care setting
- Perform IV insertions and assessments in preterm and term infants
- Care for and stabilize critically ill infants needing vent support, CPAP, UVC placement, surfactant administration, needle decompression, TPN, and lipids
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems
- Adhere to unit-specific policies including weekend shifts and protocols for patient care
