About the Role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel RN for a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) assignment in Alexandria, Virginia. The position is a 12‑hour shift, 36‑hour work week for a 12‑week contract, starting 09/28/2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to neuro and cardiac patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and interpret ECG strips, ensuring patient safety and response to titrated drips.
- Administer and titrate various medications including vasopressors and inotropes.
- Collaborate with clinical techs and utilize advanced equipment such as ventilators and high‑flow nasal cannula.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and support patient recovery through skilled nursing interventions.
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- Pass ECG exam on day 2 (pass/fail).
- Specific patient care and procedure knowledge as outlined in the internal description.
Pay
Pay range: $1,743.99 – $1,831.19 per week. Compensation is based on 12‑hour shifts and a 36‑hour work week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 19:00 – 07:00 (12‑hour shifts), 36 hours per week.
