Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $1,714 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a NICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

About the role

The assignment starts on 08/10/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts. This is a travel position.

Responsibilities

• Make clinical judgments and utilize critical thinking in an effective and efficient manner with supervision.
• Perform according to nursing standards and manage patient care, assisting others in patient management.
• Provide direct and specialized care for newborns needing close monitoring due to premature birth, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions requiring surgery or therapy.
• Work in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing a plan of care for high-risk newborns requiring high-technology care, including ventilators, incubators, or other special equipment or surgery.

Requirements

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS, PALS, & NRP Certifications.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
