Travel Nurse RN - Neurology - $2,483 per week

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Rotating weekend shifts
• May float to Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Young Minds, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities and duties required by the unit within the scope of service.
• Implement procedures and theories specific to the neurology practice area.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care to ensure integration of information for the healthcare team.
• Complete initial assessment upon patient admission and develop an appropriate plan of care based on patient and family needs.
• Implement the plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures.
• Modify the plan of care based on continuous evaluation of patient status.
• Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting and/or correcting safety hazards and incidents.
• Communicate directly and privately with team members to resolve issues.
• Provide constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers and expand knowledge through collaboration.
• Identify personal learning needs and take initiative to address them.
• Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.
• Active Illinois state RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree.
