About the role
We are seeking a qualified Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide critical care for patients with neurological conditions in Tulsa, OK.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive patient assessment
- Maintain neurological status through monitoring
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Manage life-support equipment including ventilators
- Perform neurological exams
- Monitor intracranial pressure
- Respond to emergencies such as strokes or seizures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Offer family education and support
- Document all care activities accurately
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Certification in critical care or neuroscience nursing
- Strong assessment skills
- Ability to handle high-acuity situations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in Oklahoma
- Current BLS certification
