About the role
The Intensive Care Unit Neurological Nurse Educator position is located in Bozeman, Montana. This role involves developing and implementing educational programs and professional development initiatives for healthcare staff in a neurosurgical intensive care setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs and professional development initiatives for healthcare staff in a neurosurgical intensive care setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing;
- Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse);
- minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience and/or equivalent health teaching experience;
- minimum of 1 year of education/training in administrative, management, and leadership principles and practices;
- EMR: EMR;
- Ability to work varied shifts;
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
- Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment;
- Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight;
- Detail oriented, organizational skills;
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility.
Qualifications

- Instructor certification in any discipline of American Heart Association (AHA);
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC);
- Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC);
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP);
- S.T.A.B.L.E.;
- TeamSTEPPS;
- Certification in Nursing Professional Development or area of specialty.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
