The Intensive Care Unit Neurological Nurse Educator position is located in Bozeman, Montana. This role involves developing and implementing educational programs and professional development initiatives for healthcare staff in a neurosurgical intensive care setting.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing;
• Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse);
• minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience and/or equivalent health teaching experience;
• minimum of 1 year of education/training in administrative, management, and leadership principles and practices;
• EMR: EMR;
• Ability to work varied shifts;
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines;
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
• Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment;
• Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight;
• Detail oriented, organizational skills;
• Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills;
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

• Instructor certification in any discipline of American Heart Association (AHA);
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC);

• Certification in Nursing Professional Development or area of specialty.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
