About the Role
TravelNurseSource is working with Atlas MedStaff to find a qualified NICU RN in Portland, Oregon, 97225!
Absenteeism is not permitted.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting.
- Assess and document patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Experience in neonatal intensive care preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of neonatal care practices.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
