No rotating shifts.Unit: 20-bed adult Medical/Surgical ICU within a 400+ bed community hospital; Level III Trauma Center.Ratios: ICU 1:2, or 1:1 for high-acuity patients.Floating: Required, primarily to Med/Surg; ratios 1:4–1:5.EMR: Epic.Parking: Free on-site.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of continuous MICU experience; notes also specify 2+ years of continuous experience at one location.Must read telemetry strips and demonstrate telemetry competency.Active Massachusetts RN license.AHA BLS and ACLS.Patient Population: Sepsis, DKA, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, renal failure, GI bleeds, substance abuse/overdose, and severe psychiatric conditions. Attendings and residents available in the ICU 24/7.
