About the role
Binding Minds is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit setting.
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system (Meditech).
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Active Alabama RN License or Compact RN License.
- Recent 2 years of MICU/ICU experience in an acute care setting.
- American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

- Weekly Gross: $2,110.
- Weekly Stipend: $1,246.
- Weekly W2: $864.
Schedule
- Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3×12) (36 or 48 hours/week accepted).
