Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
• Aid in activities of daily living and provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes, maintaining compliance with policies.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols and respond to patient emergencies.
• Mentor and support junior staff when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current BLS certification.
• Competency in Med-Surg nursing.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
