Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with various medical conditions, including post-surgical, complex wounds, and general medical cases.
• Manage continuous patient monitoring and titratable drips (e.g., Heparin, insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nitroglycerin).
• Ensure accurate documentation within electronic health record systems.
• Manage IVs, drains, ostomies, wound vacs, NG tubes, and Foley catheters.
• Float rotation may be required.

Requirements

• Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS preferred.
• Education requirements: RN license required.
• Location requirements: Must hold a valid RN license to work at the facility.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required.

Schedule

Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.

Facility Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 during the day and 1:6 during night shifts.
• Support staff includes nurse aides and respiratory therapists.
• No call, holiday, or weekend standby requirements.
• Orientation includes computer training and shadowing for 24 hours.
• Candidates must have worked for Marshfield at least 6 months prior or be new to the facility.
