Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks while on shift
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in a level 1 trauma unit
- Utilize electronic health record systems
- Adhere to established clinical protocols
Requirements
- Valid nursing licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- Previous experience in medical-surgical units with telemetry
- Ability to work a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Epic system experience (mandatory)
- Must be separated from the organization for a minimum of 6 months if previously employed on a permanent, per diem, or contractual basis
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- Level 1 trauma experience
