Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,809 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry position in Cleveland, Ohio. Start date 11/06/2026, 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week. The role involves providing med‑surg and telemetry care, with potential to float to other units and the ED to manage the same patient population, including possible care of patients on ventilators.

Responsibilities

• Provide med‑surg and telemetry nursing care.
• Float to other units and the ED as needed to maintain continuity of care for the same patient population.
• Potentially care for patients requiring ventilator support.
• Work rotating day/night shifts (12‑hour shifts, e.g., 7 pm‑7:30 am or 7 am‑7:30 pm) with variable scheduling based on hospital needs.
• Work at least every other holiday.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation and achieve acceptable scores.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in Med Surg / Telemetry specialty.
• Current permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week.

• Shift pattern may vary to meet operational needs; facility will honor preferred shift when possible but reserves the right to rotate as needed.
