Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurse positions are available in a healthcare facility located in Plattsburgh, New York. These assignments offer an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care on a 12-hour day shift basis. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on surgical and telemetry patient populations, providing essential nursing services in a resourceful and collaborative setting.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Monday to Sunday schedule; no block schedules
• Float rotation may be required
• Bi-weekly orientations on Monday; next available orientation date pending

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year experience in the relevant specialty
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• CMSRN (Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse) certification preferred
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification required prior to starting
• Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
• NY license or proof of application with applied date required in the submission packet (note: NY licensing takes 6-8 weeks)
• Complete employment history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) required for submission
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Additional Information

• Travel to the facility is not required
• Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area; reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November to April
