Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,614 per week

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg / Telemetry position in Utica, New York. This is a 13-week assignment with a start date of 08/30/2026.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Employment type: Travel
• Floating required: Yes

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in a 64-bed Med Surg Stroke Stepdown unit
• Manage common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal/dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation, general med-surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Operate specialty equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• Adhere to unit-specific requirements, including wearing navy blue scrubs

Requirements

• Up-to-date resume demonstrating 2+ years of experience in Med Surg with stroke stepdown experience
• Documented travel nursing experience (required)
• Skills checklist matching the specialty
• Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification (required for this unit; can be obtained prior to start)
• NURSYS report
• Active New York RN license and all other active RN licenses (RTO must be included at time of submission)
• Experience with EPIC EMR
