Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,449 per week

About the role

Care for med-surg/tele patients at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. The assignment includes 12‑hour day and night shifts (7 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). The facility will try to honor shift preferences but may rotate travelers to meet staffing needs. Floating may include units J1‑2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on med‑surg/telemetry units
• Work 12‑hour rotating day and night shifts
• Float to units J1‑2, J33, or the ED as needed to maintain patient continuity
• Adhere to facility policies and orientation requirements

Requirements

• At least 12 months of combined permanent staff experience in med‑surg/telemetry
• Current Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at submission
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
• Ability to work at least every other holiday
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments within two attempts during orientation
• Submit all requested time off and one reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty from work performed within the past 12 months
• Local candidates accepted; former permanent or per diem staff must have been separated for at least one year
• BCI/FBI fingerprints due within 48 hours of contract signing

Schedule

36 hours per week; 12‑hour rotating shifts (day: 7 a.m.–7:30 p.m., night: 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m.).
