Travel RN Assignment Summary

• Experience Requirements: Recent Epic EMR experience in a similar Med Surg/Telemetry unit within the last 12 months, comfortable caring for Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patients, must self-study telemetry strips prior to the assignment, must successfully pass a basic dysrhythmia exam during the first week to remain on the Telemetry/Med Surg unit
• Experience Requirements: Required Certifications: ACLS (Required), Other certifications not specified

Requirements

• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry
• Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, Provide high-quality bedside care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients, Maintain professional nursing standards and effective communication with patients, families, and team members, Floating & Low Census: May be required to float to affiliated campuses as needed, May occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census, Call Response Time: Must be able to arrive at the facility within 1 hour if called in
• Additional Notes: Passing the telemetry/dysrhythmia competency test is mandatory for continued assignment on the unit, Overtime may be available based on unit staffing needs.
