Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Specialty and Unit
- Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
- Unit: MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take pediatric patients)
- Patient ratios: 1:4–5 on days, 1:6–7 on nights
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating
- Shift times: 0700–1930 / 1900–0730
Key Policies
- Low census unbillable hours up to 36 hours total (can be called in 4-hour increments)
- Every other weekend and holiday requirement
- Mandatory mask policy during flu season for unvaccinated staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
- Active Wisconsin RN License
- AHA or ARC BLS certification
- EPIC charting required
- Clinical interview required prior to confirmation
