Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,161 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Float Pool. This role involves floating between all Med Surg Tele units, providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential, as candidates may be required to float to other units based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients within Med Surg Tele units.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC.
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to create and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele required.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a strong background in Med Surg and Telemetry. Candidates must have a current active NY RN license and AHA BLS certification. Experience in acute care settings is preferred.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in electronic health record systems are essential.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour, night shift schedule with 36 hours per week available. Candidates must work at least one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.
