Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse in Anchorage, Alaska. This position requires a highly skilled healthcare professional to provide dedicated patient care within a reputable, Magnet-designated healthcare organization. The role focuses on adult and geriatric patient populations, including oncology care and chemotherapy administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a 12-hour shift environment
• Utilize Rapid Response/Code teams as needed
• Manage peripheral lines and non-invasive airway care
• Administer oxygen and follow PPE and isolation precautions
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Requirements

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current state RN licensure; pending license accepted (must have license in hand for auto-offer)
• Ability to complete Alaska RN license application within 48 hours of signing
• Minimum 0 years of experience (1 year preferred)
• References covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to comply with rapid mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policies

Skills

Schedule

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
