Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,041 per week

About the role

Travel RN — Cardiac Med-Surg/Telemetry Float Pool at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Virginia. Join the float pool at a 495‑bed, Level II trauma center. Care for acute cardiac and Med‑Surg/Telemetry patients across units. Three openings are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for acute cardiac and Med‑Surg/Telemetry patients across units.
• Float between units as required.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.
• Wear navy blue scrubs.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of Med‑Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Cardiac experience.
• Previous travel experience.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Valid Virginia or compact RN license.
• Ability to float between units comfortably.

Schedule

• Night shift: 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m., three 12‑hour shifts per week.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks (assignments up to 26 weeks may be considered).
• Weekends and holidays: Every other weekend and holiday; no call.
• Patient ratio: Averages 1:7 (not guaranteed).
