VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a Hospital contract in Baltimore, Maryland.

RN License
BLS
ACLS
NIH
Maryland or compact RN license
Basic EKG testing
Maryland-approved trauma education
8hrs annual stroke CEs
4hrs annual trauma-related CEs
2 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
Neurology experience
CVA/acute stroke care and pre/post-neurosurgery experience
Experience with spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury
Feeding-tube care, pre/post-hemodialysis care, and renal-failure experience
Surgical drain, wound care/wound VAC, oxygen administration, and isolation/PPE experience

Provide specialized nursing care for neurology and telemetry patients on a Neuro Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
Monitor patients using bedside EEG, telemetry, and bladder scanning
Float to other units as needed within scope, including Med-Surg and Telemetry units
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety guidelines during night shifts
