Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

About the role

We are seeking a Med Surg RN with at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical, telemetry, or PCU. The position involves providing patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical unit, including assessments, care planning, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will work in a level 1 trauma hospital with patient ratios of approximately 1:4-6 and must be flexible to float to units such as Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Neurology. Proficiency in EPIC EMR is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Adapt to varied patient populations and support team needs.
• Float to other units, including Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Neurology, as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg, telemetry, or PCU.
• Experience in a level 1 trauma hospital.
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts.
