About the role

Travel Oncology / Medical-Surgical RN position in Lewiston, Maine at a 250-bed full-service regional referral hospital offering advanced surgical services and a comprehensive cancer program. Lewiston is known for its vibrant arts scene and is home to the historic Bates College Museum of Art. Portland is about a 40-minute drive south.

Responsibilities

• Provide multidisciplinary care in a medical-surgical and oncology setting
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Current nursing licensure (Compact accepted)
• 2 years of RN medical-surgical experience
• Surgical unit experience required
• BLS-AHA certification
• SSN and date of birth required
• One professional reference covering entire work history
• 36 or 48 hours per week (RN’s choice)

Qualifications

• Oncology experience preferred
• Chemo certification preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
• Strong communication skills

Pay

Pay rate: $3,073.00 - $3,231.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
