About the Role

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours/week available (candidate may choose)
• Overtime is not billable until after 48 hours worked
• Start: ASAP
• Openings: 1
• Schedule: Full-time days
• Temp-to-Perm: Possible

Unit / Patient Population

Med-Surg unit primarily caring for post-surgical patients, including:

• Orthopedic surgery
• General surgery
• Neurological populations
• Routine and complex medical-surgical patients

Requirements

• Epic experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
• Must be willing to float
• Active RN license in state of employment or Compact license
• AHA BLS required
• 1+ year related nursing experience preferred

Strong fit for a traveler with solid Med-Surg, post-op orthopedics/general surgery, and neuro experience who wants either a standard 36-hour contract or the higher earning potential of a 48-hour guarantee.
