Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,880 per week

This position is a travel nursing job for a Med Surg RN in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Details

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - can be low censused in hour increments as needed, typically in 4-hour increments
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Treat adult patients with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Must be able to work independently, manage tasks in a timely manner, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff
• Must demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and a positive attitude with constant changes throughout a shift
