The position involves working in a Neurosciences unit with a focus on stroke, seizures, surgical/post-op spines, and neurological disorders, with a need for strong neuro experience and proficiency in electronic health record systems. Job Details Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift Minimum Hours Per Week: 48 hours Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS; minimum 2 years of experience in a neuro-related setting; valid licensure to submit; recent Epic experience; proficiency and experience with G-tubes and neuro patient care. Schedule: Nights, every other weekend or 3 weekends per schedule, with weekend rotations on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Night shifts include every other weekday of 12 hours. Additional Information: This unit manages neurological patients including stroke, seizures, DBS, and post-op spine surgeries. Experience with EPIC and neuro patient management is required. Responsibilities include patient monitoring, documentation in Epic, and working with a multidisciplinary team. Float to other units may be required, with first priority to certain units. Required certifications include BLS and NIHSS in hand at submission. The unit operates with a charge nurse 24/7, and RT support is available 24/7. Submission Requirements: Willing to wait for license to submit.
