Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,505 per week
Job Summary
The Bethel, Alaska location is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse for a Medical Surgical Floor position. This role involves delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The successful candidate will coordinate nursing care for a diverse patient population, from birth to elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients.

Required Qualifications
- Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution;
- license in good standing as a Registered Professional Nurse in Alaska;
- current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training;
- new graduates accepted; minimum experience preferred dependent on position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric and adult experience;
- ability to manage behavioral health patients and utilize therapeutic communication.
Additional Information
- If the guaranteed hours are 40 per week, the first week will not have guaranteed hours due to orientation commencing on a Tuesday.
- All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations.
