Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,382 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13‑week assignment at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The position is on the 3rd Surgical unit, working 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, with a start date of October 26, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide med‑surg nursing care to patients with a typical nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 5‑6:1.
• Perform and assist with orthopedic surgeries (knees, hips, shoulder, cervical) and bariatric procedures.
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts and CPM devices.
• Document care using the facility’s EMR (Code Cart).
• Collaborate with charge RN, RNs, LNAs, and unit coordinator on day shift; work with charge RN, RNs, and LNAs on night shift.
• Float to Medical Oncology as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Med Surg within a hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Preferred: additional 2 years’ experience in med surg, orthopedics, or bariatrics.
