About the role

Travel Oncology / MS RN job in Lewiston, Maine at a 250-bed full-service regional referral hospital with advanced surgical services and a comprehensive cancer program. Lewiston is known for its vibrant arts scene and is home to the historic Bates College Museum of Art. Portland is about a 40-minute drive south.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a medical-surgical and oncology setting
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Participate in multidisciplinary care

Requirements

• Current nursing licensure (Compact accepted)
• 2 years of RN surgical experience
• BLS-AHA certification
• SSN and date of birth required
• 1 reference from entire work history
• Surgical unit experience
• 36 or 48 hours per week (RN’s choice)

Qualifications

Required:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Medical-Surgical (MS) experience

Preferred:

• Oncology experience
• Chemo certification
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Strong communication skills
