About the role

Medical Surgical (MS) nurse shifts are scheduled during daytime hours on a 12‑hour shift at a healthcare facility in Wichita, Kansas. These positions involve working within a busy Medical Surgical floor featuring new equipment and a collaborative team of experienced healthcare professionals. The role offers an excellent opportunity to gain acute care experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work on a busy Medical Surgical floor with new equipment.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of healthcare professionals.
• Provide acute care to patients during daytime 12‑hour shifts.
• Maintain a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure.
• Current acute care hospital Med/Surg or Orthopedic experience of at least 1 year.
• BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with traction, spine, hip, and joint precautions.
• ACLS certification (preferred).

Schedule

• Dayshift, 12‑hour shifts
