Job Summary
This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a busy medical surgical unit.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in medical surgical nursing
- Travel experience
- BLS certification; ACLS and PALS are preferred
Experience
- Two or more years of related experience in a med-surg setting
- Travel experience also required
Responsibilities
- Delivering patient care for common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issues, and postoperative care including THR, TKR, lumbar surgery, and general surgeries
- Managing patient flow with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 7:1, possibly 8:1
- EMR System: Sorian

- This assignment is for an 13-week period, with an immediate start date
- No on-call responsibilities are included

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
