About the role
Pyramid Consulting is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) for a 13-week travel assignment in Salida, Colorado.
- Location: Salida, CO 81201
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
- Schedule: Every other weekend | No mandatory overtime (OT available)
Pay
- Regular Pay: $30.50/hr
- Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1,196.16/week
- Weekly Gross Pay: $2,294.16 (subject to completion of scheduled hours)

Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to acute care and swing bed patients.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in health status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ensure culturally appropriate, safe, and compassionate care while adhering to facility policies and standards.
Requirements
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
