About the Role

Travel nursing assignment at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Target start date is 09/07/2026 with 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience, including at least 1 year of Med-Surg experience at a large hospital (+450 beds).
• Active Indiana state RN license (or compact license as of 7/1/20) and BLS through AHA required in hand.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with chronic illnesses (COPD, Diabetes, CHF, ESRD), GI issues, infections, neurological issues, and mental health disorders.
• Perform assessments, care planning, manage wound vacs, feeding tubes, chest tubes, heparin and insulin drips.
• Utilize EPIC charting, Pyxis, Hospira IV pumps, and telemetry monitoring.
• Float to other medical units or areas in greatest need as required.
• Patient ratios: 1:5 to 1:6.
• 3 weekend shifts required in a 4-week period.

Schedule & Facility Policies

• 12-hour night shifts on a contract basis.
• Facility may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment.
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
• Clinicians returning within 12 months are ineligible for non-billable orientation (NBO).
• Local rate applies (12% reduction of regular bill rate) for clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles.
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs.
