Job Details: Position: RN Medical Surgical Floor Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado Work Schedule: Day Shift, 0615 to 1845; 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week Start Date: 08/23/2026 Experience & Education: Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience required. Previous traveler experience, Cerner EHR/EMR proficiency, graduate of an accredited RN program, current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain, and certifications including AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or completion within 3 months) are required. Certifications: Current AHA BLS certification required. ACLS and PALS certification required or must be obtained within 3 months. Responsibilities: Provide patient care within the RN scope of practice, perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, document enhancements in the electronic health record, provide patient education, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy work including lifting and moving patients, with exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and communicable diseases in a hospital setting. Additional Notes: Candidate must demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, sound judgment, and adaptability, and must comply with all hospital policies and safety standards.
