Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,165 per week

Job Summary

The position involves providing care on a 27-bed medical-surgical unit caring for a diverse patient population, including post-operative and elderly patients. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts and holiday assignments.

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays

Required Qualifications

• NH RN License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required)
• BLS
• ACLS preferred
• Minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed
• 2+ years of equivalent experience including post-surgical drains, central line care/maintenance, Foley insertion, G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes, IV medication administration/IV push, wound care, O2 therapy

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic
• Telemetry experience

Additional Information

The facility provides patient care for a variety of medical conditions, including orthopedic, general surgery, alcohol-related, congestive heart failure, and pneumonia. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1, and the patient-to-Licensed Nursing Assistant ratio is 3:1.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
